Past hats had an embroidered patch. The new ones have a cheep iron on. Don't waste your money..

The build quality is excellent, and would be very comfortable except for my head size. I purchased an XL hat for that reason but, despite my bald head, the stiff seam behind the badge emblem leaves a distinct impression on my forehead when removed. Those of you with large heads beware. :)
